Thanks for helping conserve Nassau County

Pileated Woodpecker

We need you!  When you join Conserve Nassau you support our efforts to:

  • Protect wild places

  • Keep our air and water clean

  • Ensure thoughtful community growth

  • Keep the pressure on local governments and corporations to ensure safe and healthy communities

  • Conserve Nassau engages the community to protect and strengthen the treasured features of our unique home including our diverse economy, cultural heritage, and fragile ecosystems.

  • Your membership supports our work to engage the communities of Nassau County through education, advocacy, and on-the-ground actions such as community native gardens and air and water monitoring.
Our team’s education must also stay current and expanding and that often means seeking costly legal counsel for us to effectively propose change in land use codes and local ordinances.
Your contribution also allows you, through our newsletter and email alerts, to be among the first to hear or provide and understand issues in the County of immediate concern.

  • Please give as generously as you can to support Conserve Nassau’s emphasis on the interdependence of actions to conserve the character, environment, and economy of our communities.
The following gifts qualify for Conserve Nassau membership:

A monthly recurring gift of $5 or more.
An annual recurring gift of $25 or more.
    A one-time gift of $25 or more.

If you have questions about membership, please send an email to membersec2022@gmail.com .
